Everyone
Move water faucet DS in line with the pylon on Stage Right.
Jack Cody, the main judge, is big on master gestures.  Make these clear.  I haven’t seen many.
Who is supposed to take off the furniture left stage?  It all needs to be taken off except the bench to make room for the town in the later scenes.
I know you were tired.  You’ve had a long weekend.  We will ask Ms. Griffis and Ms. Escobar to  watch Monday.
We need to see everyone’s decisions throughout the play.
Music
Static was too loud
Battle sounds were too loud.
Fade it in – especially with people talking
Lights
Make sure that people who are not the focus of the scene are not in the light.
When Moises says Why after the scene where he tries to bring her back to life, make a BIG difference in lighting to show a change.
Moises
Make the washing of the hands slower – more ritualistic
Vocal reaction to Belen’s screams behind scrim.
Why needs to be a little less than you gave during Freida’s clinic. Cry  Then take a beat to orient yourself from this nightmare.   You are puzzled as you return to Monica, you’ve lost something during that struggle with Luis that you are trying to regain.  Was it real?
Fill  your suitcase with something that doesn’t make noise.  
Much better on lower pitch and slowing down.  Need to see your decision in bring her to me.
Monica
Read enough of the paper that you understand he signed up to join.

Why aren’t you wearing shawls during the war scene?
When picking up windows, pick them up where they are and cross to where you need to be.  Don’t go where you need to be then pick up window.
During the prayer scenes and the end, face different directions – not everyone is face front.
Make sure you are not blocked when you give your line.
Soldiers
Plank needs to be angled to the audience. 
We need to see Ramzi’s face.
Guitar
We need music when Ramzi is taken off from DS to the clinic.
Priest
Good job – considering your injury. Good job during the window scene.
Too many pauses in lines about 20 dead. 
Belen
Lamp on as Moises comes in.  Not on during the car scene.
Make your screams increase.   At first maybe no,no, no   increase to the end.
Behind the scrim, plant your feet.   Don’t sway.
Put up a fight wasn’t in accent.
Work on  your ghost movements – be committed.  Don’t do it halfway.
How far back are you behind the scrim? Difficult to see you.
End of your lines need to be as loud as the first of your lines.
Luis and soldiers
As Luis was behind the scrim, his head sharply turned toward the clinic when they were transporting Ramzi.  I liked that.
Rafaella
If you are in the light, don’t move so much.  I love your character. 
Move more right stage in the window scene.
Luis
Head up.
Moises & Luis
Watch being too profile.
Belen and Moises
Each time Vincente (Ramzi) yells, react – especially Belen.

  1. I will work on my reactions on finding out who Luis is and how he has treated people. I think we are really improving, but we need to keep improving every rehearsal. This also needs to be a team sport. We can't go anywhere on our own. So lift each other up no matter how much they may drive you crazy. We don't all have to be friends off the stage, but we are playing characters. This is all we are, we are poetry like Lou said. Do what your character would do, not what you would. Come with a positive attitude and ready to work every day.

  2. The accents were a lot better, but Don and Breck have to improve a little more, also watch out that the accent is not overdone so it sounds ironic.
